The IR IP Ultra is an affordable, power-efficient IP and analog thermal camera designed to be networked and controlled from a central office, remote camera management system or Web-based utility. The IR IP Ultra advances the technology availabe in the popular IR Elite by adding Pan & Tilt capability with a continuous 360° pan range with the ability to elevate a ± 120°.  Remarkably, the entire system weights a mere 2.33kg and meausres only 19cm in diameter with a height of just 21cm.

The IR IP Ultra produces a crystal-clear thermal video image with a resolution of 320x240 pixels. This unit employs Infrared Inc's 17µm focal plane array for outstanding performance that enables the IR IP Ultra t use lightweight, fixed-focus optics with fields of view of 40°,  24°, 16°, and 9°. The IR IP Ultra's uncooled VOx detector enables exceptional performance at an exceptional price. Unlike many conventional video surveillance cameras, the IR IP Ultra does not require any ambient light or illumination. It detects infrared (heat) waves to provide users with Superior thermal images in challenging environments and complete darkness.

The IR IP Ultra is built with a tamper resistant IP66 housing, which makes it ideal for outdoor applications. Conformant to the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF™) interoperability standard for IP-based security devices, the IR IP Ultra offers 802.3af single cable PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability and an industry-leading power consumption of less than 12.95 watts resulting in easy installation into existing security infrastructures. The IR IP Ultra is available in 30Hz and 9Hz models for global distribution.
