Infrared and Thermal imaging systems are passive and non-intrusive, detecting through darkness, in most weather, and over distances. As a result, they are invisible to hostile forces and intruders, allowing military and security personnel to monitor their actions without their knowledge, protecting people and assets before they are exposed to danger.
